What’s Your Nutritional Style?

People come to me believing that they eat in a healthy way. In fact, one of the first things that I hear when I meet someone new is, “I eat a pretty healthy diet”. What I’ve found is that many people don’t know that that means–for them.

Most people are confused about what to eat, and they don’t make the connection between what occurs in their body (weight gain, early aging, inflammation, headaches, low energy, and so on), and their food.

Or they take false comfort in making one change, like eating oatmeal, or drinking organic milk, and they believe that it compensates for eating what they want to the rest of the day, even if it’s junk food.

I believe that your food matters; it’s your medicine, your life line, the secret to living the rest of your life in a beautiful, energized, healthful way, and I believe that we all have our own unique Nutritional Style.

For your reality. For your body. For your life.

Discovering your own style, and learning to adapt that style to the seasons, changes in environment, and life’s stressful times, will ensure vibrant health and a life well lived.

I work with people to help them discover what their Nutritional Style is. I’m part sleuth, part detective, part scientist, and a bit of a big sister. I shoot holes in menu plans, and I pull out the puzzle piece that didn’t fit. Often with profound results.

I believe in the power of my work, and the importance for all of us to become more aware of our foods, our health and our self care, learning together how to manage our bodies and figure this huge piece of life out.
