Marinade from the Ranch

With grill season coming up, everybody needs an easy marinade to have on hand.
This is Rancho La Puerta’s “Saturday Marinade.”


1 ounce extra virgin olive oil
1 medium shallot, diced
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tablespoon fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried
1 tablespoon fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried
10 ounces soy or Tamari sauce (you can also substitute coconut amino’s, a soy sauce alternative)
Ground black pepper (I prefer cayenne for more kick)


Mix ingredients
